NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING PROPOSED CHANGES OF POLICY 6020 INTERNET ACCESS TO
INCLUDE THE CHILDREN'S INTERNET PROTECTION ACT (CIPA) REQUIREMENTS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 23, 2015, the Board of Trustees of the Placentia Library District will hold a Public Hearing in the Community Meeting Room at 411 East Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870, as part of the Unusual Date Meeting of the Board at 6:30pm. The Board will hold the Public Hearing in order to receive oral and written opinions regarding the proposed changes of Policy 6020 Internet Access. Those desiring to comment orally may do so during the hearing. Written comments may be filed at any time prior to conclusion of the public hearing. Any written materials to be submitted to the Board should be addressed to the attention of Jeanette Contreras, Library Director, at the abovementioned address. Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board will consider adoption of the proposed changes to the Policy 6020 Internet Access, which would include technology protection measures as required by The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
