Seasonal Crafternoons: November
Tuesday, November 17, 4:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Craft pickup begins Tuesday, November 10, while supplies last!
Join us for Thanksgiving stories, songs and a craft as we think about all we have to be thankful for.
All craft kits are free, and we will demonstrate how to make each craft during our Crafternoons programs. Pickup anytime beginning November 10, between 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Information Desk (hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.), or request your kit at curbside pickup outside the library. (Call or text the library when you arrive. The cell phone number is at the curbside pickup spaces.)
Limit 4 per family, and a Placentia Library card is required. There are two age-appropriate crafts; please specify if you would like a craft (1) for younger children, ages 3-8, or (2) for older children, ages 9-13
If you were unable to pick up a craft kit, here are the materials needed to follow along:
- The turkey, for children ages 8 and under: clear acetate cut in the shape of a turkey, black marking pen or crayon, tissue paper cut into 1” squares, glue, small piece of twine or yarn, craft foam in these colors: orange, brown, and yellow
- Sand art pictures, for children ages 9-13 years: cardboard, pencil for making shapes, glue, colored sand (brown, red, yellow, orange and black).
