FAQ
Anything really, that's up to you! Think of it more like a computer lab, but instead of just computers, we have a laser cutter, and sewing machines, and rotary tools, and more!
Every month, we provide a video tutorial for an entire project and a kit with all the supplies you need to make it. Check out the Take and Make page for more information on registration. Other than that, all instruction in the Hangar is provided one-on-one, as-needed during open hours. If you have a specific project you want to make on a machine you don't know how to use, we will do our best to teach you how to do it!

Just your library card! There are no fees associated with using the room. Check in with Hangar staff on your first visit to fill out a waiver and we'll keep it on file. For a complete list of rules for the Hangar, including important safety information, make sure to download the rules document. We also recommend bringing a USB flash drive to save any project files that you create here.
We have enough materials for you to get familiar with the machines. Ask Hangar staff for more information or download the complete list of approved materials you can bring from home. We also recommend bringing a USB flash drive to save any project files that you create here.
