The Friends Bookstore is in the entrance lobby of the Library. The selection of books changes regularly, so be sure to check the shelves whenever you visit the Library. Proceeds from the Bookstore, the Second Sunday Book Sale, and the Silent Auction go toward special projects at the Library. Thanks for your continuing support.
Your donation of books and other materials is very welcome. Particularly useful items include:
Recently published titles: fiction and nonfiction, paperback and hardback Children's books
Videos, DVDs and recorded books
High interest subjects: mysteries, detectives, romance, science fiction, classics, politics, travel, world languages
High interest magazines: National Geographic, Architectural Digest, Bon Appetit and Gourmet
A receipt for items donated is issued upon request. Receipts state the number and type of material donated, but do not estimate the value.

Placentia Library District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Placentia Library District
