Placentia Library Director Message: Coronavirus Update - Modified Library Service from March 14-31 (March 13, 2020)

Dear Placentia Library District Patron:

At the Placentia Library District, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for you and your family. In light of the latest declaration from the President today and school closures throughout California, we have modified our service level. Effective March 14th, the Placentia Library District will continue to provide passport service and pickup and drop off of library materials. These services will be available in the Community Meeting Room. Programs, events, and computers will discontinue through March 31, 2020. We will remain open seven days a week.

While we are mindful of the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, we also recognize the need for children and their families to continue to access reading materials. Our online services are available to you at your fingertips. Enjoy a movie with Hoopla, listen to your favorite music with Freegal, research an interesting topic with our many databases, or download an endless collection of books with Overdrive.

Please visit our website at https://pldca.specialdistrict.org/ for up-to-date information about our programs and services.

Sincerely,
Jeanette Contreras
Library Director
