RAFFLE RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. This raffle is conducted by Placentia Library Friends Foundation (PLFF), located at 411 E. Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870. PLFF is a non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).
    
2. The raffle will be conducted from 9:00 a.m., December 21, 2023 to 12:00 p.m., April 11, 2024 while supplies last.
    
3. Tickets will be sold at $10.00 per ticket, at the Placentia Library District, located at 411 E. Chapman Avenue, Placentia, CA 92870.  Please see a staff member at the Information Desk.
    
4. PLFF is NOT responsible for lost or misplaced tickets.
    
5. Purchaser must be 18 years or older. Minors may not purchase or have their names identified as entrants for prizes.  Payment for the tickets shall be made in cash or credit card.  Credit card purchases will incur a $1.00 processing fee. All purchases are final, and no refunds will be issued.
    
6. Winner will be picked by public random drawing to be held at the Taylor Swift Dance Party on April 11, 2024. Winner need not be present to win.
    
7. Winner agrees to allow use of their name or likeness for publicity purposes without compensation.
    
8. If the winner does not claim the prize within 48 hours of the winning number announcement, a disqualification will result, and an alternate winner will be drawn.
    
9. Prizes to be given away in the raffle include:

10. Winner must present the raffle ticket stub when claiming their prize, and provide one form of picture identification. Delivery of the prize shall be made solely to the entrant based on providing the raffle ticket stub, and picture identification. Standard shipping for tickets is available for a $1.00 fee to cover related expenses. Expedited shipping is not available. Shipping of prizes and associated costs will be coordinated with the winner.
     
11. Winner acknowledges that PLFF, its board and representatives have not made and neither are they in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee expressed or implied in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular use.
     
12. A copy of all rules and eligibility requirements will be posted in the District’s bulletin board, outside the library building, and on PLFF’s website placentialibraryfriends.com.
     
13. District employees, Library Board of the District and PLFF Board may participate in the raffle.
     
14. The decision of PLFF Board shall be final on all matters concerning the raffle.
