The Hangar DIY Lab

Updated Hangar Model Starting March 1st, 2024:

Welcome to our all-ages makerspace! In our fun DIY (Do-it-Yourself) Lab you are the maker and we provide the tools for you to create, tinker, and craft. Stop by during open hours to enjoy creating your own projects or to use our awesome equipment! Please note we do not help create individual projects or provide instructions on using the equipment, we only provide resources.

Interactive hours include access to our Hangar supplies for children, teens, and adults as well as our equipment for adults and teens. Makerspace equipment includes Cricut, sewing, and embroidery machines and is available on a first-come first-served basis during our Hangar open hours (no appointments necessary). Use of the makerspace equipment is open to adults and teens ages 14 + with a valid library card, ID, and signed waiver. *No advance reservations available – use of the equipment is on a same day, first-come, first-served basis.
